HIMALAYAS has established, documented, implemented, and currently maintains an Integrated Management System (IMS) that has received certification under the three international standards for quality, environment, and operational health and safety (ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and BS OHSAS 18001:2007, respectively).

Designed to encompass all aspects of the company’s operations, the IMS integrates all systems and processes into one comprehensive framework. Fundamentally, the IMS ensures:

1. Working Practices are Coordinated and Integrated:

The IMS ensures the requirements of the specific standards are coordinated, workloads are streamlined and disparate systems are avoided. The standardization and uniformity of practices ensures all departments and employees are working toward a shared vision and objective.Common elements across the three international standards include procedures for document and data control, internal audits, control of conformance, and management-level review of company operations. Elements that are unique or specific to each of the three standards have been written into the IMS as individual procedures that are issued to the relevant departments or units through controlled distribution.

2-No Duplication:

The IMS ensures efficiencies in system implementation by incorporating all elements common to the three international standards, avoiding duplication of practices and records, and assuring full compliance in these areas.

3-Continual Improvement:

As part of the measurement, analysis and improvement process, Pivot monitors, measures and analyzes its processes as appropriate, and takes actions as necessary to achieve the planned results and to ensure continual improvement. When new procedures are created, or existing procedures are updated, affected departments undergo training that explains how the new or revised procedure will impact their daily activities.

4. Improved Operations:

The IMS both enables and fosters the continual improvement in our performance through the monitoring and review of our policies, procedures and processes to enable process optimization.

5. The Enduring Strength of the HIMALAYAS Brand:

HIMALAYAS is dedicated to providing an unparalleled level of service to its clients. The implementation of the IMS enables a coordinated approach to the delivery of our projects, which deliver value and quality.
